Brrrrr.... Warm, Fuzzy and Sexy Boots

These Pajar black fur boots might be just what we need to keep those toes warm in style this winter. The onset of this cold weather has left my eyes wide open and on the prowl to spot a cozy but sexy, cold weather boot. While stopping into Bloomingdales nearby to simply grab that MAC hot tahiti lipstick which I have been scraping out of the tube, I found myself waltzing to the shoe section which was quite the frenzy.  (online shopping sure is great!)  These Pajar boots were the most unique and fun in my mind.  While UGGS are great and I am wearing my one precious brown suede leather lace ups right now, the Davos fur boot is not only covered in goat fur but also has over a 2 inch heel with leather lace, silver hardware and the oh so lovely shearling lining.  This fabulous boot can also be found at footnotesonline. 

Another Pajar boot, the Sasha, in black suede with mink shearling lining and Ghillie lace is a great twist on the traditional fuzzy winter boot.  A 3 inch chunky heel adds the edginess to an otherwise casual look.  Oh and the Sasha is on sale. That is fabuluos for sure.  Pajar being a French Canadian brand, I think might be able to trust their expertise on keeping warm!  Now I think its a great night to make some hot chocolate on the stove.

Ruffle Pumps - So Pretty and SEXY for sure!!

Ruffle pumps, such as this Badgley Mischka heel above are a truly lovely style seen a lot this winter. Whether placed on the toe, such as the deep eggplant BCBGMaxAzria Lark I featured last week, or along the heel on these gorgeous Badgley Mischkas, the ruffle adds a feminine and pretty feel to a smooth, classic heel.  With a fine leather sole and upper and fabric detail, at 4 1/4 inches, the Tai is not only pretty but SEXY for sure!! Perfect for that anticipated date whether already planned or to just simply be ready as who knows what tomorrow will bring. My thought is that this heel will be stylish for years to come and will hold memories.

This orchid embossed Manoles, below the knee leather boot emits a sense of artistic sensibility and feminine sophistication. The embossed leather adds a unique touch to a versatile and shiek boot.  I am personally always gravitated to the wild beauty of the orchid and am appreciating the style created here.  Ofcourse, it is great to reflect on the fact that orchids are often associated with love, luxury and strength.  I have a feeling walking in the these boots, made of fine leather and crafted in Spain would surely feel luxurious. Also, I can only speak for myself but when I put on a pair of high heeled boots I love, I sure feel stronger and through time and patience I have been told love will come our way.  Well that is my positive mode of thought speaking and that is a good way to end the night.  I believe many other fabulous ladies out there have an uplifting feeling when they stand tall in their favorite boots as well.

Isaac Mizrahi Live Launch Event for QVC

On Wednesday night I was honored to attend the launch event for Isaac Mizrahi Live as a guest blogger for The Well Heeled Society. Isaac Mizrahi Live will be airing on QVC starting Dec 4th.  His new line will include not only clothes and shoes but food such as the delicious cheescakes he is designing.  He was making me hungry describing the desserts he so loves.  I had the chance to ask him a few questions and was inspired  by his energy and reaching out to his audience.  When asked what his definition of a well-heeled woman is, he stated that "A confident woman is a woman who knows how to look in the mirror properly! To be herself."  More or less, we do not need to try to look like anyone else but to find that confidence in ourselves. So true. Let's listen to him!

Also, I must add, it is quite grand that the Yankees won the world series on the same night as his launch party. Check out his video blog at Isaac Mizrahi NY :)!

Yes... I know!
